Potters Bar

We are pleased to announce that Planning Consent has been granted for the full reworking of a single storey house in Potters Bar. Located with a steeply sloping garden, extending fully to the rear would only make the relationship to the garden worse; We therefore designed a full side extension with rear bedroom replacing an ugly garage and lifted the roof to gain an additional floor.

Lodge House, Kent

Work has started on site for the extension to a Grade II listed Lodge House set in rural Kent. The ground has been excavated to set the extension into the rising ground level, the slab has been poured and we expect the walls to be completed during this month.

Tufnell Park, London

We have recently received Planning Consent for a residential project in Tufnell Park. Our lovely client is an Artist and facing the kitchen extension, creating a coutyard feel is a purpose built artists studio with a raised roof to allow north light into the space. The project is currently out to tender and should start on site soon.

East Sutton, Kent

Planning consent has been granted for a new 3 car garage and studio to an historic house in Kent. The proposal follows the careful renovation of the main dwelling where historic fabric was uncovered and restored with a rearrangement to the newer parts of the house and a contemporary kitchen/dining. The project includes extensive landscaping to create a new courtyard cut into the hillside.

Lodge House, Kent

Planning Consent has been granted for the extension to a triangular Victorian lodge house in the Kent countryside. The lodge sits prominently on the junction of 5 roads and is Grade II Listed, the proposal is carefully designed to avoid all approaching views and address the sensitive architectural character of the unique building. The extension reorientates the outlook of the house to the garden (a view it hardly gets at present) and from the upper storey enjoy the extensive views over the Weald.

Bowness on Solway

Planning submitted for an extension to a private house in Bowness on Solway, Cumbria. The project is located at the centre of a roman fort on Hadrian’s Wall and aside from the conservation area issues it has to pay particular attention to the archaeological sensitivities of the site.
