Andrew Lowe
MA Arch (Edin) Dip Arch ARB
Andrew Lowe graduated with a distinction from Edinburgh University in 1995 and worked many years as an Associate in award winning, design focused practices – Circus Architects, Wells Mackereth and Madoc Architecture - gaining a depth of experience in bespoke residential, niche retail and office design. Andrew formed Lowe Architecture in 2009.
Lowe Architecture provides a unique interpretation of the brief coupled with a level-headed approach to all stages of the project from initial design to final completion.
It is our belief that commissioning a building should be an enjoyable and life affirming process in the creation of inspirational spaces for living and working. All projects instill a sensitive approach to the surrounding environment, a rigorously worked layout and a critically detailed palette of materials and light. The results are contemporary, warm and each project bespoke to the particular needs of the client.
In his spare time Andrew has built his own house. He is Chair of Friends of Paddington Old Cemetery, a 24 acre green space in Kilburn, where he has written a Biodiversity Management Plan (since adopted by Brent Council) and is currently formulating a Heritage Lottery Bid to raise funds to save the Grade II listed chapels.
